Bio

I've been a working photojournalist for 40 years!  I love what I do.  After 3 decades on staff at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, and nine years covering the legal community for Missouri Lawyers Weekly, I have struck out on my own!

My work has appeared in Life, Time, Newsweek, and has won many awards, including the international competition, Pictures of the Year, with a first place in general news for a photograph from a story on the homeless.  My most recent accolade was from APME,  first place photo story for my essay on the gun violence problem in our community.

Portraiture, events, reunions, family gatherings....I can be relied on to produce beautiful, meaningful work.
